Title
An ordinance relating to cleaning of sediment reaching a public or private road. (Dept. of Neighborhood Services)
Sections
290-7-2-c      am
Analysis
Chapter 290 of the code prescribes erosion control efforts relating to site development projects.  Current provisions require that any sediment reaching a public or private road must be removed by street cleaning, other than flushing, before the end of each workday.  This ordiance repeals the requirement that such cleaning be done before the end of each workday.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1.  Section 290-7-2-c of the code is amended to read:
290-7.  Control of Erosion and Pollutants.
2.  REQUIREMENTS.  c.  Tracking.  Each site shall have graveled roads, access drives and parking areas of sufficient width and length to prevent sediment from being tracked onto public or private roadways.  Any sediment reaching a public or private road  shall be removed >>immediately<< by street cleaning, other than flushing [[,before the end of each workday]].
