Analysis
This resolution authorizes the sale of a vacant, tax-deed lot.
Body
Whereas, Ephesians Missionary Baptist Church has submitted an Offer to Purchase the vacant, tax-deed lot located at 2412-14 North 6th Street, Tax Key No. 323-0619-7, in the amount of $1,500; and

Whereas, Ephesians Missionary Baptist Church will combine the City vacant lot with their existing vacant lot for development of an educational facility, named Community Learning Center, operated by the church; and

Whereas, The Department of City Development recommends acceptance of said Offer contingent upon site and building plan approval by the Department of City Development's Planning Division; and

Whereas, Construction must be completed within 18 months from the date of adoption of this resolution or the property will revert back to City ownership with no further Common Council action required; and

Whereas, This lot is being sold in an "as is" condition and the City of Milwaukee makes no representations or warranties concerning the lot, including but not limited to soil and subsoil conditions; and

Whereas, Ephesians Missionary Baptist Church will assume any site preparation and development costs associated with said new construction; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offer, the sale of said lot to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax-deed lots pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said...
