Analysis

This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute the Sewer Easement Release SER-2420, located in that portion of vacated North 34^th Street from 148^± feet north of West North Avenue to 170^± feet north of West North Avenue.

Body

Whereas, On March 20, 1986, the City of Milwaukee was granted a Sewer Easement, located in that portion of vacated North 34^th Street from 148^± feet north of West North Avenue to 170^± feet north of West North Avenue, now known as 2319 North 34^th Street, having Tax Key Number 326-1608-100-3 by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee conveyed the existing combined sewer constructed in said sewer easement to the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee on May 3, 2000; and

Whereas, The Sewer Easement is no longer required to protect the interest of the City of Milwaukee; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Sewer Easement Release SER-2420, a copy of which is attached to the Common Council File Number 010072 and  incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said Sewer Easement Release has been executed by the proper City Officers, it shall be forwarded to the office of the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then to the office of City Real Estate for recording and proper distribution.
