Analysis
This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works, as modified by the Common Council Committee, on projects for which Public Hearings have been held. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

5th Aldermanic District

W. Keefe Ave. – N. 83rd St. to N. 84th St. (ST21100141) File Number 960854: Asphalt pavement resurfacing, replace curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches where needed, sodding, and grading. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $17,800; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $14,200)

8th and 16th Aldermanic Districts

W. Burnham St. (Portions in West Milwaukee) – S. 31st St. to S. 43rd St. (ST32000201) (2046-01-00) File Number 990928: Concrete pavement reconstruction, replace all curb and gutter, replace sidewalk and driveway approaches where needed, sodding, and grading. (Assessable State Aid Fund -- $80,200; Nonassessable State Aid Fund -- $138,500; State or Federal Funds -- $744,500; State/Federal Grantor Paving Fund -- $131,500; Village of West Milwaukee Funds -- $300,000) These funds are to be transferred to the construction account ST32000210.
