Body
Whereas, The City owns an 1892 combined sewer ranging in size from 12"X18" to 15"X22" located in West Bruce Street, and in sewer easement SE-418, said easement being located in the extension of West Bruce Street from West Reynolds Place to a point 674± feet west of West Reynolds Place; and

Whereas, MMSD owns a 48-inch Metropolitan Interceptor Sewer (MIS) with three direct service connections in said West Bruce Street and its extension; and

Whereas, MMSD intends to abandon this 48-inch diameter MIS as part of their Central MIS Improvement Plan; and

Whereas, MMSD, as part of their Central MIS Improvement Plan , has determined that the said City combined sewer in West Bruce Street and its extension is undersized and in need of replacement; and

Whereas, MMSD is willing to relay said City sewers at their own expense as detailed in the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement, said Agreement is hereto attached and made part of this file; and

Whereas, MMSD will reconnect two of the MIS service connections to the proposed City sewer relay; and

Whereas, The City will agree to have the MMSD relay the aforementioned City sewer, with the two MIS service connections reconnected per the conditions of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement; now, therefore be it
