Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Capitol Drive from West Fond du Lac Avenue to North Lovers Lane Road from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east side of North 2nd Street from West Lloyd Street to West Meinecke Avenue from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 2. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Capitol Drive from West Fond du Lac Avenue to North 76th Street from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
On the south side of East Dewey Place from South Howell Avenue to South Austin Avenue
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 4th Street from the north curb line of West Brown Street to a point 150 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the north side of East Wells Street from North Broadway to the first north/south alley east thereof at any time"
"On the east side of South 1st Street from the south curb line of West Orchard Street to a point 100 feet south thereof at any time"
Part 4. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North Bartlett Avenue from East Irving Place to a point 50 feet south at any time
On the east side of North 67th Street from West Keefe Avenue Parkway to a point 140 feet south at any time
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-a of the Code relating to 15 Minute Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 28th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to the first east/west alley north
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-b of the Code relating to 30 Minute Parking is amended by striking the following:
"East State Street from North Milwaukee Street to North Broadway from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On South 5th Street between West National Avenue and West Walker Street"
Part 8. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Sheridan Avenue from a point 380 feet west of North 76th Street to a point 400 feet further west
Part 9. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of West Winnebago Street from North 10th Street to North 11th Street"
"On the west side of South 9th Street from the south curb line of West Mitchell Street to a point approximately 150 feet south thereof from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM"
"On the south side of East Townsend Street from North Holton Street to North Richards Street on odd calendar dates"
"On the west side of South 28th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to the first east/west alley north of West Lincoln Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
Part 10. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 67th Street from West Keefe Avenue Parkway to a point 140 feet south"
Part 11. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Exception to Alternate Side Overnight Parking is amended by adding:
On West Highland Avenue from North 27th Street to North 35th Street
On West McKinley Avenue from North 27th Street to North 35th Street
