Analysis
This substitute resolution approves the City of Milwaukee as the Public Sponsor for the Miller Valley State Street Streetscape Improvement Projects on West State Street between North 46th Street and North 35th Street with 80% Federal and/or State Aid under a Transportation Enhancement Program grant. This substitute resolution authorizes and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute the Project Agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming and construction of the Miller Valley State Street Streetscape Transportation Enhancement Project. This substitute resolution also authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to undertake preliminary engineering activities on the project, to let contracts to undertake the project and to engage a construction manager, if necessary. This substitute resolution also authorizes the City Comptroller to establish accounts for the preliminary engineering and construction costs. The total estimated costs for their projects is $1,456,090, of which the local share is $291,218.
