Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2001 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 000508 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Common Council-City Clerk, Council Services Division, Clerical Section", delete one position of "Common Council Office Systems Coordinator" and one position of "Office Assistant IV" and add one position of "Office Supervisor II" and one position of "Administrative Assistant II."
Under "Department of City Development, Marketing and Civic Development Services Office", delete one position of "Marketing Program Coordinator-Sr. (Y)" and add one position of "Marketing Program Coordinator (Y)."
Under "Health Department", delete one position of "Health Operations Administrator (X)(Y)" and add one position of "Health Operations Director (X)(Y)"; under "Staff Development Unit", delete one position of "Staff Development Coordinator" and add one position of "Staff Development Manager"; under "Medical Assistance Outreach Grant (N)", delete two positions of "Public Health Aide (N)(X)" and add two positions of "Health Access Assistant II (N)(X)"; add a section entitled "School Based Medical Assistance Outreach Grant" and add one position of "Health Access Assistant II (CC)(X)"; under "Lead Pilot Project Grant (E)", delete the footnote designation "(S)" and add the footnote designation "(D)" following one position of "Laboratory Assistant II (E)"; under "Lead Hazard Reduction Grant (D)", delete one position of "Laboratory Assistant I (D)(E)"; under "Disease Control and Prevention Division", delete one position of "Office Assistant IV" and one position of "Disease Control Prevention Manager (Y)" and add one position of "Health Project Assistant" and one position of "Disease Control and Prevention Manager (Y)"; under "CDBG Lead Grant (TT)", delete one position of "CDBG Lead Program Manager (TT)(X)" and add one position of "Lead Project Coordinator (CDBG)(TT)(X)"; under "Breast Cancer Awareness Program Grant (U)", add one position of "X-Ray Technician III (NN)(U)(X)" and amend footnote "(U)" to read: "To expire 12/31/01 unless the Breast Cancer Awareness Grant is extended. .25 FTE of the X-Ray Technician position funded by the Well Women Health Initiative Grant."; under "Women, Infants and Children's Grant", add one position of "Dietetic Technician (C)(X)" and amend footnote "(C)" to read: "To expire 12/31/01 unless the Women, Infants and Children's Grant, available from the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services is extended. Also funds .25 FTE of the Public Health Nurse Supervisor in Keenan Health Center."; add footnote "(NN)" as follows: "To expire 12/31/01 unless the MBCAP Well Women Health Initiative Grant is extended. .75 FTE of the X-Ray Technician III position is funded by the Breast Cancer Awareness Program Grant." and under "STD/HIV Prevention Training Grant (BB)", delete one position of "Nurse Practitioner (BB)(K)(X)" and add one position of "Nurse Practitioner-STD/HIV Program (BB)(K)(X)."
Under "Library, Extension Services Bureau, Neighborhood Library and Extension Services Decision Unit, Neighborhood Services Division", delete one position of "Program Assistant II" and add one position of "Office Assistant IV."
Under "Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Fund, Office Unit", delete one position of "Office Assistant II" and add one position of "Accounting Assistant II" and under "Administration", delete one position of "Administrative Assistant I" and add one position of "Accounting Assistant II."
Under "City Treasurer, Administration Division", delete one position of "Network Coordinator-Assistant" and add one position of "Network Coordinator-Associate."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 000508 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2000 - December 26, 1999):
Under "Health Department, Laboratories Division", delete one position of "Accounting Assistant I" and add one position of "Accounting Assistant II."
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2000 (December 26, 1999).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after passage and publication.
