Title
Substitute resolution relative to the acceptance of the Shelter Services Program grant from Milwaukee County.
Analysis
This resolution allows the City of Milwaukee to accept the Shelter Services Program grant in the amount of $99,900 from Milwaukee County.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee serves as the Lead Agency/Collaborative Applicant for the Milwaukee City and County Continuum of Care; and
Whereas, The Milwaukee County has approved the award of $99,900 to the City of Milwaukee for the Shelter Services Program to fund homeless housing initiatives; and
Whereas, The operation of this grant from December 1, 2013 through December
31, 2014 would cost $99,900 which will be provided by Milwaukee County; now therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, the Community Development Grants Administration shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Section 304-81, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:
1. Commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2013 Special Revenue Grant
And Aid Project Funds, the following amounts for the program/project titled
Shelter Services Program:

2. Create the necessary Grant and Aid Project/Grant and Project/Grant levels; budget against these Project/Grant values the amount required under the grant agreement;

1. Expend from the amount budgeted for specified purposes as indicated in the grant budget and incur costs consistent with the award date;
