Substitute resolution authorizing the transfer of funds from the City Hall Foundation and Hollow Walk account to the Building Exterior Façade Restoration program
 
Analysis
This resolution authorizes the transfer of $1,450,000 from the City Hall Foundation and Hollow Walk account to the Building Exterior Façade Restoration program for the final design of the City Hall terra cotta repair, construction administration, post-construction inspection, and a construction contingency.
 
Body
Whereas, Common Council Resolution File Number 130163, adopted July 2, 2013,  authorized a settlement in which JPC agreed to perform all needed repairs to terra cotta on City Hall for a price of $6,707,000; and
 
Whereas, as of November 19, 2013 the City Hall Foundation and Hollow Walk project, account BU110080800, has a remaining and unencumbered balance of $4,851,817; therefore, be it
 
Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Comptroller is directed to transfer the amount of $1,450,000 from the City Hall Foundation and Hollow Walk project, Account No. BU110080800, to the Building Exterior Façade Restoration project, Account No. BU110110700.
