Analysis

This resolution allows a cut in street pavement in the North 44^th Street and West Bluemound Road intersection currently under three year warranty.

Body

Whereas, Touch American, a telecommunications utility company, has requested permission to cut pavement less than 3 years old in the interesection of North 44^th Street and West Bluemound Road; and

Whereas, The purpose of the pavement cut is to install underground communications facilities in the area; and

Whereas, The intersection has been recently paved and is under guarantee; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to issue an excavation permit allowing a pavement cut in the intersection of North 44^th Street and West Bluemound Road; and be it

Further Resolved, That the pavement restoration of the affected intersection shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications and restrictions established by the Department of Public Works of the City of Milwaukee.
