Substitute motion amending the Common Council Procedure and Rules relating to standing committee assignments.

Analysis

This motion clarifies that matters relating to the development center and the planning staff of the Department of Neighborhood Services are assigned by the Common Council Procedure and Rules to the Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee.

Body

It is moved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, as follows:

Part. 1.  Article II, Section 1, Subsection 5, Paragraph f of the Common Council Procedure and Rules is amended to read:

ARTICLE II.  COMMITTEES.

1.  Section 1.  Standing Committees.

5.  Public Safety.

f.  Neighborhood services, department of, except those matters pertaining to public facilities and those matters relating to the development center and planning staff.

Part 2.  Article II, Section 1, Subsection 7, Paragraphs f to n of the Common Council Procedure and Rules is renumbered paragraphs g to o.

Part 3.  Article II, Section 1, Subsection 7, Paragraph f of the Common Council Procedure and Rules is created to read:
