Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
7th Aldermanic District
N. 33rd St. (West Side) - W. North Ave. to a point 200 feet m/l north of W. North Ave. (TD04080000) File Number 000781: Walk, curb and gutter. (Nonassessable TID Fund -- $33,000)
7th and 17th Aldermanic Districts
W. Meinecke Ave. - N. 30th St. to N. 37th St. (SM495000107) File Number 971499: Combined sewer lining. (Nonassessable Relief and Relay Sewer Fund -- $2,608,000)
17th Aldermanic District
N. 37th St. - W. Meinecke Ave. to W. Wright St. (SM495000411) File Number 000246: Relay combined sewer. (Nonassessable Relief and Relay Sewer Fund -- $177,000)
now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
