Analysis

This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to enter into an agreement with Milwaukee County relating to the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the traffic control signal and the related traffic control facilities at the intersection of West Good Hope Road and North 99th Street.

Body

Whereas, This intersection is currently controlled by a temporary traffic control signal and will be upgraded to a permanent traffic control signal and no prior agreement has been reached regarding the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the traffic control signal; and

Whereas, The issues of cost sharing, ownership, responsibility, and liability will be described and agreed to in this agreement; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works be and hereby is authorized and directed to enter into an agreement between the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County, for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the traffic control signal at the intersection of West Good Hope Road and North 99th Street.
