Analysis
This ordinance requires that any male job applicant between the ages of 18 and 25 who applies for a city job, and who is legally required to register with the selective service system, must register prior to beginning employment with the city.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1.  Section 350-200 of the code is created to read:
 
350-200.  Selective Service System Registration.  Every male job applicant between the ages of 18 and 25 who is required to register with the selective service system must submit documentation of such registration prior to beginning paid city employment.
