Title

A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls in various Aldermanic Districts.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in various parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-12-4-a of the Code relating to Mandatory Turn Lanes is amended by striking the following:

"The furthest two easterly lanes on N. Broadway southbound to eastbound E. St. Paul Avenue must turn left"

Part 2.  Section 101-12-4-a of the Code relating to Mandatory Turn Lanes is amended by adding the following:

The first easterly lane on N. Broadway southbound to eastbound E. St. Paul Avenue must turn left"

"Southbound on N. Broadway at E. St. Paul Avenue right lane must turn right"

"Eastbound on E. Kilbourn Avenue at N. Broadway right lane must turn right"

Part 3. Section 101-13-8 of the Code relating to School Speed 20 MPH is amended by adding the following:

On W. Burnham Street from S. 22nd Street to S. 24th Street

On W. Burleigh Street from N. 67th Street to N. 69th Street

Part 4.  Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by striking the following:

"On N. Buffum Street at E. Hadley Street"

Part 5.  Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:

On N. Buffum Street at E. Hadley Street

On W. Lancaster Avenue at N. 23rd Street

On W. Martin Drive at N. 46th Street in all directions

On N. 79^th Street at W. Locust Street

On W. Concordia Avenue at N. 25th Street in all directions
