Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2000 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 990704 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Department of Administration-Information and Technology Management Division, Geographic Information Systems Support Team", delete one position of "Systems Analyst-Specialist" and add one position of "Systems Analyst-Senior."
Under "Assessor's Office, Systems & Administration Division", delete the position "Assessment Systems Analyst" and add one position of "Systems Analyst-Project Leader."
Under "Common Council-City Clerk, Central Administration Division", delete one position of "Council Network Administrator" and one position of "Council Network Analyst" and add one position of "Network Administrator" and one position of "Network Coordinator-Senior."
Under "Department of City Development, General Management and Policy Development Decision Unit, Information Systems Services" delete one position of "Systems Support Assistant" and add one position of "Network Analyst-Assistant."
Under "Health Department, Maternal and Child Health Division, HIV Women's Grant", add one position of "Public Health Nurse (L)(X)" and amend footnote "(L)" to read: "To expire 7/31/01 unless the HIV Women's Grant, available from the Medical College of Wisconsin, is extended."
Under "Library, Administrative Services Decision Unit, Technical Services Bureau, Automation Section", delete one position of "Customer Services Representative II" and one position of "Library Network Manager (X)" and add one position of "Network Analyst-Assistant" and one position of "Network Manager (X)."
Under "Municipal Court, Management and Administration", delete one position of "Network Specialist I" and add one position of "Network Analyst-Senior."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 990704 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 22, 2000 - October 15, 2000).
Under "Department of Administration-Business Operations Division, Reproduction Section", delete one position of "Duplicating Equipment Operator II" and one position of "Lead Offset Press Operator" and add two positions of "Duplicating Technician."
Under "Department of Public Works-Buildings and Fleet Division, Operations Section", delete three positions of "Garage Attendant" and add three positions of "Garage Custodian."
Under "Department of Public Works-Infrastructure Services Division, Electrical Services Decision Unit, Street Lighting", delete two positions of "Laborer, Electrical Services" and add two positions of "Special Laborer, Electrical Services."
Under "Parking Fund", delete four positions of "Parking Meter Repair Worker II" and add one position of "Parking Meter Technician-Lead" and three positions of "Parking Meter Technician."
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 22, 2000 (October 15, 2000).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after passage and publication.
