Current city code provides that the city's permanent improvement fund may be funded by tax levy, amounts appropriated by law and transferred to the fund by the comptroller and appropriations of the common council made from time to time; and that withdrawals from the fund shall be authorized by the common council and included in the adopted city budget. This ordinance provides that all payments received by the city pursuant to common council file #981393 - removal of existing limitations on Class III games that the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe may operate in the Menomonee valley site in the city - shall also be deposited in the permanent improvement fund, within a separate subaccount.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 304-28-2 of the code is amended to read:

304-28. Permanent Improvement Fund.

2. FUNDING SOURCES. >>All payments received by the city pursuant to common council file #981393 - removal of existing limitations on Class III games that the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe may operate in the Menomonee valley site in the city - shall be deposited in the permanent improvement fund within a separate subaccount, "Potawatomi payment."
