- Analysis -
This substitute resolution approves the Grant of Easement Agreement by and among the 815 Water Street Limited Partnership, the owner of the three story office building located at 815 North Water Street and the City and the Board of the Captain Frederick Pabst Theater. Under the terms of the Easement Agreement, the Grantor is providing the City and the Pabst Board with the right to gain a certain measure of control over a portion of the office building premises in order to undertake certain improvements on the east side of the Pabst Theater including, but not limited to, an extension of the Theater's lobby. The Grantor is granting the easement for nominal consideration, i.e., $1.00. ___________________________________________________________________
BODY:
Whereas, 815 Water Street Limited Partnership (hereinafter referred to as "Grantor") is the fee simple owner of that certain parcel of land and the improvements thereon located in the City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and more particularly described as Parcel 1 of Certified Survey Map No. 5053 (hereinafter referred to as the "Office Parcel"); and
Whereas, The City is the owner of that certain parcel of land and the improvements thereon located in the City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and more particularly described as Parcel 2 of Certified Survey Map No. 4657 (hereinafter referred to as the "Pabst Parcel"); and
