This ordinance eliminates the requirement that all outdoor vehicle storage areas associated with transportation services in manufacturing and industrial zoning districts be located more than 200 feet from a public street in order for such transportation services to be classified as permitted uses. This ordinance adds the requirement that transportation services shall only be permitted uses in manufacturing and industrial districts if their outdoor vehicle storage areas comply with the zoning code's screening requirements for outdoor storage.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. Section 295-512-8-b of the code is amended to read:
 
295-512. Permitted Uses.
 
8. MOTOR VEHICLE.
 
b. Transportation services if located more than 200 feet from any residence district or residential planned development district and if all outdoor vehicle storage areas are [[located more than 200 feet from a public street]] >>in compliance with s. 295-14-12<<.
 
Part 2. Section 295-522-8-b of the code is amended to read:
 
295-522. Permitted Uses.
