Title
A substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Two-Family Residential to Local Business to facilitate redevelopment on land located on the south side of East Dover Street at 619 East Dover Street, west of South Kinnickinnic Avenue, in the 14th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This zoning change was requested by the City of Milwaukee, on behalf of the Milwaukee Board of School Directors, to allow for greater flexibility for redevelopment of the former Dover Street School located at 619 East Dover Street.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-601.2.0050. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for 619 East Dover Street, Tax Key No. 499-0905-110, from Two-Family Residential (RT4) to Local Business (LB2).
