Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and

Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

1st Aldermanic District

W. Hampton Ave. - N. Green Bay Ave. to N. Teutonia Ave. (SM493130106) File Number 130953: Bioswales. Best Management Practices (BMP's) for the reduction of TSS in storm water. (Nonassessable TSS Removal Fund -- $145,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $150,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2014 construction season.

7th Aldermanic District

N. Sherman Blvd. - W. Auer Ave. to W. Congress St. (SM493130107) File Number 130953: Sherman Boulevard bioswales. Best Management Practices (BMP's) for the reduction of TSS in storm water. (Nonassessable TSS Removal Fund -- $295,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $300,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2014 construction season.
