ANLS:
This resolution authorizes the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds in accordance with sec. 67.04, Stats., for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit; for sewage disposal in the amount of $14,560,000.
BODY:
Whereas, The 2000 budget of the City of Milwaukee adopted by the Common Council contemplates the issuance of general obligation bonds or Sewer Maintenance Fund Revenue Bonds in the amount of $14,560,000 for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit; for sewage disposal; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that it hereby and herewith authorizes and declares its purpose to issue and sell general obligation bonds in the amount of $14,560,000 for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit; for sewage disposal.
