Resolution relative to application for the Medical Emergency Extranet Grant. (Health Department)

ANLS:

This resolution authorizes the Health Department to apply for the Medical Emergency Extranet Grant from the Centers for Disease Control. This grant will fund the development of an advanced health information network that will improve the ability of local public health agencies and emergency government to respond to biological terrorism or other mass casualty incidents.

BODY:

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the Centers for Disease Control to fund the development of an advanced health information network that will improve the ability of local public health agencies and emergency government to respond to biological terrorism or other mass casualty incidents; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the Centers for Disease Control is authorized.
