- Analysis -

This resolution directs the Department of City Development to prepare a resolution which vacates the above portion of public street in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 66.297(1), Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 81-308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This vacation is necessary to continue private parking after street improvements have been made.

BODY:

Whereas, It has been proposed by the City of Milwaukee, Department of Public Works, that North 124th Street between West Hampton Avenue and a point North of West Silver Spring Drive be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 66.297, Wisconsin Statutes; and

Whereas, The vacation of this portion of street is necessary to continue private parking after street improvements have been made; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Department of City Development is directed to prepare a resolution to vacate the subject portion of street in accordance with Section 81-308-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
