Substitute resolution approving rates for the four Health Maintenance Organizations that will provide services to City of Milwaukee employees and retirees in the year. 2000.
BODY:
Whereas, The Department of Employee Relations - Employee Benefits Division was authorized by Common Council File No. 972012 to negotiate rates for Year 2000 with Health Maintenance Organizations that are under contract with the City of Milwaukee, and
Whereas, The Common Council through File No. 972012 is required to approve rates for Health Maintenance Organizations for Year 2000; and
Whereas, The Department of Employee Relations - Employee Benefits Division has received rates for Year 2000 from four Health Maintenance Organizations - Compcare, Family Health Plan, Humana and PrimeCare; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Common Council approve the rates attached to this resolution from Compcare, Family Health Plan, Humana and PrimeCare to be effective January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2000; and, be it
Further Resolved; That proper City officials are authorized on behalf of the City to execute the Amendment to Agreement with Compcare, Family Health Plan, Humana and PrimeCare regarding Year 2000 rates for Health Maintenance Organizations.
