This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council.
BODY:
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
6th Aldermanic District
N. Commerce St. (Relocated) A Point 550 feet m/l west of N. Humboldt Ave. to N. Humboldt Ave. TD02284001 (865-0923-7): Doing all the necessary grading and tree removal.
7th Aldermanic District
W. Lloyd St. - N. 21st St. to N. 22nd St. SW17100176 (859-0568-0): Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Relief and Relay Sewer Fund -- $5,000)
7th and 17th Aldermanic Districts
N. 30th St. - W. Brown St. to W. Meinecke Ave. SW17100174: Shotcrete lining a combined sewer. (Nonassessable Relief and Relay Sewer Fund -- $30,000)

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
