This resolution rescinds Resolution File Number 980739, adopted September 23, 1998, thereby rescinding permission granted to the City of Glendale to connect to a City of Milwaukee sanitary sewer and water main located in West Custer Avenue between North 13th Street and North 15th Street.
BODY:
Whereas, On February 10,1998, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 971169, approving an agreement between the City of Glendale and the City of Milwaukee, whereby a comprehensive redevelopment plan for West Silver Spring Drive shall be undertaken by the City of Glendale including those portions within the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, On September 23, 1998, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 980739, granting the City of Glendale permission to connect to a City of Milwaukee sanitary sewer and water main located in West Custer Avenue between North 13th Street and North 15th Street; and

Whereas, This connection would be used to provide services to apartment housing in 2 buildings, of 100 units each; and

Whereas, This additional volume of service might overburden the City of Milwaukee sewer and water services in this area; and

Whereas, This overburden to the system may cause flooding and moisture problems to City of Milwaukee residents in this area; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Resolution File Number 980739 is rescinded, thereby rescinding permission granted to the City of Glendale to connect to a City of Milwaukee sanitary sewer and water main located in West Custer Avenue between North 13th Street and N...
