Analysis

This resolution adds the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee to the list of organizations and funds that are participating recipients of donations in the City's future Combined Giving campaigns.

Body

Whereas, The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) is dedicated to providing public housing and services for residents of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, HACM's 5 family housing developments are home to 12,000 low-and moderate-income families; and

Whereas, HACM also manages 5,200 Housing Choice Vouchers and 1,000 units of market-rate housing; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials are directed to take the actions necessary to ensure that the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee is included as a participating recipient of donations in future Combined Giving campaigns.
