- ANALYSIS - This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to issue an excavation permit on pavement that is less than three years old.
BODY:
Whereas, The Mandel Group, Inc., developer of an apartment project in the block of East Ogden, proposes to install a sewer lateral in North Franklin Place at a point approximately 50 feet north of East Ogden Avenue; and
Whereas, An open cut method of installation is required; and
Whereas, This open cut will affect pavement less than three years old and subject to a pavement guarantee; and
Whereas, The Mandel Group, Inc., desires to install the sewer lateral prior to the expiration of the pavement guarantee to provide sewer service to a new building now under construction; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to issue an excavation permit to allow the installation of a sewer lateral in guaranteed pavement on North Franklin Place; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the pavement restoration of the affected street shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications and restrictions established by the Department of Public Works of the City of Milwaukee.
