Substitute resolution relative to legislative bills.

Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following positions on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bill and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to support such bill and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:
 
AB 230/SB 191 Animals believed to have been involved in fighting or being held as evidence.
 
Further Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee is opposed to the following legislative bills and hereby instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees in opposition to said bills and use its best endeavors in opposition to the same viz:
 
SB 261 Witness address required for valid absentee ballot.
 
SB 297/AB 396 Absentee voting at residential care facilites.
 
318 Authorizing the City of Milwaukee to sell eligible school facilities to eligible purchasers.

Further Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby directs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to watch and report on the following bill:
 
SB-252/AB-289 Authorizing a city or village to require the Department of Revenue to redetermine the value of the tax incremental base of certain tax incremental districts.
