Analysis
This resolution amends Common Council File #130225 relative to acceptance and funding of the 2013-14 SURVNET-ACA Grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services in the amount of $80,810. The purpose of the project is to maintain a countywide system for reporting communicable diseases in Milwaukee.
Body
Whereas, Common Council Files #130225 authorized the Health Department to accept and fund the 2013-14 SURVNET-ACA Grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services for the purpose of maintaining a county-wide system for reporting communicable diseases. This grant provided for a Grantor share total of $80,810; and

Whereas, the total expenditures of this program has not changed, however the budget has been amended; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that application to the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services is authorized and the Health Department shall accept such a grant without further Common Council approval unless the terms of the grant changes as indicated in Milwaukee Code of Ordinances Section 304-81; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Common Council directs that the 2013 Positions Ordinance C.C. File Number 120741, should be amended as follows:
