Analysis

This Resolution grants an easement to Library Hill LLC for the inspection, maintenance, repair, replacement, and/or restoration of a retaining wall constructed as part of the Library Hill Project which encroaches upon Fire Department property owned by the City of Milwaukee and located at 755 North James Lovell Street.

Body

Whereas, A prior owner of the Library Hill Project constructed a retaining wall which encroaches upon City of Milwaukee owned property located at 755 North James Lovell Street; and

Whereas, Library Hill LLC has requested a permanent easement in order to inspect, maintain, repair, replace, and/or restore the retaining wall at its expense; and

Whereas, A retaining wall easement depicting the retaining wall is on file with the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the retaining wall easement is hereby approved and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the retaining wall easement.
