Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a project agreement titled “Cost Sharing Agreement Between the City of Milwaukee and the City of Wauwatosa” for the cost sharing of the construction of North 100th Street from West Capitol Drive to a point north of West Congress Street with a total estimated cost of $3,364,000, of which the City’s share is $250,000 and Wauwatosa’s share is $3,114,000.

Whereas, North 100th Street was constructed in 1962 and is in need of rehabilitation; and

Whereas, The City of Wauwatosa is replacing the west half of the street in conjunction with a storm sewer project; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has requested that Wauwatosa include the remainder of the pavement replacement with their contract; and

Whereas, The City of Wauwatosa will be the lead agency of the project and construction; and

Whereas, The City of Wauwatosa shall notify the City of Milwaukee of any cost overruns and/or changes in scope to be approved by the Department of Public Works; and

Whereas, This project is programmed for construction in 2013; and

Whereas, Funding for the construction phase of the project will be included in Resolution 130601; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute the project agreement titled “Cost Sharing Agreement Between the City of Milwaukee and the City of Wauwatosa” for the cost sharing of th...
