Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $1,778,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $11,817,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $1,778,000 with the total cost estimated to be $11,817,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
1st Aldermanic District
W. Hampton Ave. - N. Green Bay Ave. to N. 20th St. (SM495130064): Sanitary relocation. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $127,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2014 construction season.
W. Hampton Ave. (north side) - N. 23rd St. to N. 24th Pl. (SM495130059): Storm sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $44,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2014 construction season.
N. 24th Pl. - 180 feet m/l south of W. Hampton Ave. to 315 feet m/l north of W. Hampton Ave. (SM495130057): Sanitary sewer lining and storm sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $74,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2014 construction season.
