Analysis

This resolution authorizes an increase in the change fund at the Milwaukee Police Department, Open Records Section.

BODY:

Whereas, To effectively conduct daily business at the Milwaukee Police Department, Open Records Section, an increase to the change fund is necessary; and

Whereas, The current allocation is $200; and

Whereas, Due to the volume of customers served on a daily basis, it is increasingly difficult to provide change for customers under the current $200 allocation; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the sum of $50 be allocated to the Milwaukee Police Department, Open Records Section from General City Cash for the purpose of increasing its change fund from $200 to $250.
