This resolution terminates the marketing agreement between the City and the National League of Cities’ Service Line Warranty Program administered and managed by Utility Service Partners, Inc. The resolution also directs the Commissioner of Public Works to prepare and issue a request for proposals for this program’s replacement and report the results of the RFP process to the Common Council within 6 months of the adoption of this resolution.

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Common Council Resolution File Number 101142 on July 7, 2011, approving the City’s participation in the National League of Cities’ Service Line Warranty Program administered and managed by Utility Service Partners, Inc.; and

Whereas, The City desires to terminate its participation in this program; and


Whereas, The termination of the contract is not due to a performance issue on the part of Utility Services Partners, Inc.; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the marketing agreement with Utility Service Partners Private Label, Inc., for a National League of Cities’ Service Warranty Program dated November 15, 2011, is terminated, the contract extinguished, and the non-exclusive license established by the agreement is revoked, effective November 14, 2013, on the terms and conditions within the draft letter and notice appended to this file; and be it
