This resolution approves a 2-year contract extension with Willis of Wisconsin to provide benefit consulting services ending December 31, 2015.
Body
Whereas, Common Council File Number 101125, adopted January 19, 2011, authorized a 3-year contract with Willis of Wisconsin to provide benefit consulting services for the City; and
Whereas, This contract with Willis of Wisconsin will expire on December 31, 2013; and
Whereas, This contract with Willis of Wisconsin included the option of an extension of up to 2 years; and
Whereas, The City is satisfied with the performance of and services provided by Willis of Wisconsin; and
Whereas, The Department of Employee Relations has recommended extension of the contract; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Employee Relations is authorized to extend the City's contract with Willis of Wisconsin for benefit consultant services for 2 years ending December 31, 2015; and, be it
Further Resolved, That payments for services shall not exceed $125,000 per year.
