Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Port of Milwaukee to accept and expend a grant from the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program relating to a Milwaukee River Bulkhead survey. The Grant is an operating Grant for $40,000 from the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program and $60,000 from in kind City and Port staff time.
Body
Whereas, The Port of Milwaukee has been received a Grant from the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program relating to a Milwaukee River Bulkhead survey.
Whereas, The information from this River Bulkhead Survey Project will aid a number of City Departments in updating property records and have accurate information for issuing permits.
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Port of Milwaukee is hereby authorized to accept and execute such a Grant without further Common Council approval unless the terms of the grant Change. ; and, be it
Further Resolved, That upon approval of this Agreement, City Departments are authorized to coordinate with project.
Further Resolved, That the Port of Milwaukee is authorized to expend the funds.
