Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2013 offices and positions in the City Service.
 
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes positions in the following departments:
 
Department of City Development, Health Department, Police Department
 
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 120742 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
 
Under "Health Department", amend footnote "(D)" to read as follows: "To expire 03/31/14 unless the Preserving Infant and Child Health Grant is extended. Funds 0.75 FTE of one position of Health Project Assistant" and amend footnote "(N)" to read as follows: "To expire 03/31/14 unless the Newborn Hearing Screening Grant is extended. Partially funds one position of Public Health Nurse."
 
Under "Family and Community Health Services Division", delete one position of "Family and Community Health Operations Manager (X)(Y)", add one position of "Family and Community Health Operations Manager (X)(Y)(LL)" and create footnote "(LL)" to read as follows: "To expire 05/31/16 unless the Lifecourse Initiative for Healthy Families (LIHF) Grant is extended."
 
Under "Police Department", amend footnote "(F)" to read as follows: "Truancy Abatement Grant: Six positions to expire 6/30/2013 unless grant funding from the Milwaukee Public Schools continues."
 
Under "Specialized Investigations, Investigative Management Division", delete one position of "Police Identification Supervisor" and under "Strategic Management, Records Management", add one position of "Police Records Manager".
 
Part 2.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 120742 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2013 - December 23, 2012):
 
Under "Department of City Development, Real Estate and Development", delete footnote "(Y)" and add footnote "(X)" to the position of "Program Assistant II".
 
Part 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
 
Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1 (December 23, 2012).
 
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
 
Part 5.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
