Title
Resolution approving an amendment to lease agreement with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District for the premises located at 123 N. 25th Street.
Analysis
This resolution approves an amendment to the lease agreement between the City and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, which was authorized by Common Council Resolution File Number 021213, adopted on December 20, 2002.  The term of the lease expires on March 31, 2013.  
 
Under this resolution, the lease arrangement will continue on a month-to-month basis. The monthly rental amount for the period April 1, 2013, to March 31, 2014, shall be $12,017.
Body
Whereas, On December 20, 2002, the Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 021213, which approved a 10-year lease agreement between the City and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District for the City-owned premises located at 123 N. 25th Street; and
 
Whereas, The term of the lease ends on March 31, 2013; and
 
Whereas, Both the City and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District desire to continue the lease arrangement on a month-to-month basis; and
 
Whereas, The monthly rental amount for the period from April 1, 2013, to March 31, 2014, shall be $12,017; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council approves "Amendment One for the Lease of Premises at 123 N. 25th Street in the City of Milwaukee," a copy of which is attached to this file; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the proper City officers are directed to execute this amendment on behalf of the City.
