Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2012 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service.
 
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:
 
Employe's Retirement System, City Attorney's Office
 
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 110440 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
 
Under Pay Range 1MX, add footnote "(4)" to the position of "Employe's Retirement System-Executive Director" to read as follows: "(4) Position to be paid rates consistent with pay range 1OX ($107,973 - $151,159) while occupied by Bernard Allen" and amend footnote "(2)" to read as follows: "(2) Compensation may be at any rate in the pay range upon approval of the Annuity and Pension Board".
 
Under Pay Range 1MX, delete the title "Chief Investment Officer (1)(2)".
 
Under Pay Range 1NX, add the title "Chief Investment Officer (1)(2)" and add footnotes "(1)" and "(2)" to read as follows: "(1) Recruitment may be at any rate in the pay range" and "(2) Compensation may be at any rate in the pay range upon approval of the Employes' Retirement System-Executive Director and the Annuity and Pension Board".
 
Part 2. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 110440 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
 
Under Pay Range 2KX, delete the title ""Pension Investment Analyst".
 
Under Pay Range 2KX, add the title "Pension Investment Analyst Associate (3)(4)" and footnotes "(3)" and "(4)" to read as follows: "(3) Recruitment may be at any rate in the pay range" and "(4) Compensation may be at any rate in the pay range upon approval of the Employes' Retirement System-Executive Director and the Annuity and Pension Board".
 
Under Pay Range 2MX, add the title of "Pension Investment Analyst (2)(3)" and footnotes "(2)" and "(3)" to read as follows: "(2) Recruitment may be at any rate in the pay range" and "(3) Compensation may be at any rate in the pay range upon approval of the Employes' Retirement System-Executive Director and the Annuity and Pension Board."
 
Delete the current pay range 2NX and create the following new pay ranges:

Under Pay Range 2OX, add the title "Pension Investment Analyst Senior (1) (2)" and footnotes "(1)" and "(2)" to read as follows: "(1) Recruitment may be at any rate in the pay range" and "(2) Compensation may be at any rate in the pay range upon approval of the Employes' Retirement System-Executive Director and the Annuity and Pension Board."
 
Under Pay Range 2QX, add the title "Assistant City Attorney III (1)" and add footnote "(1)" to read as follows: "(1) Recruitment is at any rate up to $4,915.76 at the discretion of the City Attorney."
 
Part 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
 
The provisions of all parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
 
Part 4.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
