Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works. The City cost of the projects approved by this resolution is estimated to be $959,000. The total estimated cost of these projects is $2,449,000.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and

Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

4th and 12th Aldermanic Districts

Sixth Street Viaduct Cable-Stayed Bridges (BR100120103) File Number 111690: Consultant design services for in-depth inspection of the cable stay bridges. (City Share Non-assessable Structure Fund -- $50,000, Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $300,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2012 construction season.

5th and 10th Aldermanic Districts

W. Burleigh St. - W. Lisbon Ave. to West City Limits (ST211120178): Paving the roadway with asphalt. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $400,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $1,000,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2012 construction season.
