Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $446,224.06 with the total cost estimated to be $4,527,724.06

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

4th Aldermanic District

N. Cass St. - E. State St. to E. Juneau Ave. (SM495120058): Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $173,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2013 construction season.

5th Aldermanic District

W. Beckett Ave. - N. 77th St. to W. Ruby Ave. (WT410130614): Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $7,000; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $8,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $120,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2013 construction season.

W. Capitol Dr. - N. 84th St. to W. Grantosa Dr. (WT410130001): Hydrant alteration. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $1,500; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $6,000).
