Title

Resolution authorizing the proper City officers to execute one Partial Release of Easement.

 

Analysis

This resolution authorizes the City’s Commissioner of Public Works and Comptroller to execute Partial Release of Water Easement WE793R.

 

Body

Whereas, On August 24, 1995 the City of Milwaukee was granted water easement WE793 located in Parcel 1, C.S.M. No. 6098, West of South 76th Street and South of I.S.H. 894, being a portion of Tax Key Number 605-9944-013, by Dentici Family Limited Partnership; and

 

Whereas, The owner of the property is expanding the existing loading dock two feet north into the easement area for a length of eighty-five feet; and

 

Whereas, This portion of the easement area is no longer required for future water purposes and does not serve the interest of the City of Milwaukee and should be released; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City’s Commissioner of Public Works and Comptroller are hereby authorized to execute the Partial Release of Water Easement WE793R document on the City’s behalf, a copy of which is attached to and part of this resolution; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That after said easement release has been executed by the proper City Officers, it shall be forwarded to the Department of Public Works for recording and proper distribution.
