Title

Resolution amending the Milwaukee Youth Council’s By-Laws.

Analysis

This resolution makes the following changes to the Youth Council’s By-Laws:

1. Any member who misses three regular or any six meetings shall have his or her seat on the Youth Council deemed vacant.

2. An obsolete reference to the Selection Committee is removed.

Body

Whereas, The Youth Council of the City of Milwaukee requested, through the passage of Youth Council Resolution Number 1111 on May 9, 2012, changes to the Youth Council’s By-Laws; and

Whereas, The Common Council recognizes the importance of full participation at Youth Council meetings and supports the implementation of an attendance policy for the Youth Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council amends the Milwaukee Youth Council’s By-Laws, as provided on pages 1 and 6 of the attached Youth Council By-Laws.
