Analysis
This ordinance increases 4 categories of charges for patient services provided by the fire department using fee schedules that have been adopted by the Milwaukee county association of fire chiefs and the intergovernmental cooperation council of Milwaukee county for 2012.
For residents of Milwaukee county, the charge for Level 2 paramedic services increases by $10 to $760 .
For non-residents of Milwaukee county, the charge for Level 2 paramedic services increases by $30 to $900.
The charges for treatment without transport for both residents and non-residents of Milwaukee County increases by $5 to $125 for residents, and $170 for non-residents.
The charges for transport mileage remain the same at $14.50 per mile.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 75-15-17-a-1 and 3 of the code is amended to read:
75-15. Ambulance Certification Regulations.
17. CHARGES FOR PATIENT SERVICES DELIVERED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Part 2. Section 75-15-17-b-1 and 3 of the code is amended to read:
