This ordinance revises certain provisions of the code relating to employee regulations and benefits for purposes of correcting errors, clarifying language and eliminating obsolete provisions.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 350-45-3-g of the code is amended to read:

350-45. Accrued Time-Off Donor Program.
3. RECIPIENTS' ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND RULES.
g. Donations of time shall be credited to a special account for the employee established by the city for this purpose. [[In the event]] >>If<< the employee does not utilize the entire donation, any remaining time shall revert to the city. Donated time may only be used to cover absences during the period this policy is in effect. [[However, any employee previously approved under this section prior to the date of program expiration specified in sub. 6 shall be allowed to utilize this program for the maximum permissible hours identified in this subsection if such hours become available.]]

Section 2. Section 350-91 of the code is created to read:

350-91. Fire Department: Uniform and Clothing Allowance.
1. POSITIONS ELIGIBLE.
a. Employees in active service and in the following position classifications shall be entitled to a maximum annual uniform and clothing maintenance allowance of $325 so long as they remain in active service with these position classifications:
a-1. Fire Chief.
a-2. Assistant fire chief.
a-3. Battalion chief classifications.
a-4. Deputy chief, fire.
b. Members of the honor guard shall receive, in addition to the amount provided in par. a, an annual maintenance allowance of $60.
