Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $922,000 with the total cost estimated to be $3,467,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

14th Aldermanic District

E. Lincoln Ave. - S. Kinnickinnic Ave. to S. 1st St. (SM495110519): Sewer work prior to paving. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $21,000, Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $87,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011 construction season.

City Wide

Engineering Studies throughout the City of Milwaukee, Indirect Account (SM495120001): (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $800,000). The total estimated cost for this project is $800,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2012 construction season.

2012 Manhole Inspection (SM495120501): (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $1,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $80,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2012 construction season.
