Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 061599 on May 8, 2007, directing the Department of Public Works not to initiate any work related to the upgrade of lighting of Good Hope Road, west of North 107th Street to US Highway 41/45, unless such work is authorized by the Common Council; and
Whereas, Based on the input of area residents who would be affected by the lighting upgrade, it is necessary to upgrade the lighting of this segment of Good Hope Road; and
Whereas, The Department of Public Works estimates the cost of the lighting upgrade at $60,000; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Public Works is directed to upgrade the lighting of Good Hope Road, west of North 107th Street to US Highway 41/45; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the lighting upgrade for the segment of Good Hope Road shall be funded under the Department of Public Works' 2012 Capital Improvement Program.
